Burdizzo after Vasectomy

I had a vasectomy 5 years ago. I've considered castration for almost 4 years and my wife of 12 years has agreed after several months of discussion that castration would be wonderful for me and for her. My libido is way overactive.

Would my sex drive drop enough if we just cut one testicle? If both are removed will I be able to get an erection at least every 1-2 months?

We feel that the burdizzo is the best option. But what size? 9 inch? and what needs to be cut if I've already had the two big spermatic cords cut. I can find one small vessel (cord) that attaches to each testicle. I can press very hard between two fingers and don't feel a thing. Does this mean the clamp would be really easy and painless?

Vasectomy

I had a vasectomy two years ago, the big cord is not cut, the vas differns which you can feel along the bid cord is snipped, about an inch,
the side close to the prostate is sealed off,
and the cut end to the testicle is left.

A burdizzo clamp needs to be placed over the cords, which includes the sperm cord, vas differns, and blood vessles. The crushing is for the Blood Vessles to destroy the blood supply to the testicles, that causes the castration.

A vasectomy does not stop testosterone production and that is what causes the sex drive. All a vasectomy does is to prevent sperm from being delivered into the ejaculate so that you can't get pregnant.

I know men who have fathered kids with only one testicle. It's like losing a kidney, the other one compensates for the loss of the first.

The small burdizzo will not do a man. You need the larger one like the 19" burdizzo to do the job. You have to learn how to use the burdizzo or have someone experienced do it for you. I know how to use it and was castrated by a cutter who used it on me.

The loss of one testicle would not reduce your sex drive much, if at all. Any drop in testosterone levels would be detected by the pituitary gland which would release hormones to step up testosterone production from the remaining testicle.

If both testicles are removed, your level of sexual activitry afterwards would be problematical. A lot would depend on age of castration, what the adrenal glands would be doing, and other factors poorly understood.

Under no circumstances should you consider castration unless you are willing to accept the fact that you might wind up totally impotent.

I've been wondering about that. Having 2 testicles means too much testosterone, and having 0 testicles means too little testosterone and requiring HRT or face the side effects.

What about sealing the testicles inside the body cavity, where it's too hot for them to function properly? How does that affect testosterone levels, and what about the risks of testicular cancer?

THat will only serve to reduce the sperm count. THe reason that testicles are housed outside the body is to keep the sperm cool. Testosterone production doesn't depend upon temperature.
