Re: Do women get upset that their husbands talk of this too much ?

We are also strong advocates of Bio Identical Hormones. I like the term "Human Identical" because I think it more accurately paints the picture.

"Horse" Indentical Synthetics are (I think) a bad idea. How taking hormones that are natural to horses is better then human ones? Well.... Thats a question I can't begin to answer.

I think taking hormones comes with a risk. If you already have cancer it will make it worse and do so faster. From everything I've read it does not cause cancer. In fact some papers I've read strongly suggest that having healthy hormone levels "might" avoid cancer. But that maybe all snake oil and other rubbish.

Re: Do women get upset that their husbands talk of this too much ?

My husband enjoys the fantasy but is terrified of the reality! I find it very difficult to understand, but have developed an interest in castration through his fantasy. I can easily 'press his buttons' which is very handy for our sex life.

There are three consepts to the subject of castration. Firstly that of revenge or treatment of a violent offender. Then there is the fantasist, and finally that of a lifestyle choice.

Castration should be categorised within each of these concepts as each has it's different psychology. The first two being fairly common, not so sure about the last?

Yes, I agree with an earlier post from a wife that many responses are very unimaginative and just want to indulge in a 'female responding to their fantasy'. So, same old, same old.... I want more depth from an exchange of mails and real interest. A gender thing I guess. Men are very physical and women want more substance. Sorry, just my reading of the situation guys. Hence I only dip in for ideas to juice up my man.

And oh dear, some of the stories are so 'off the wall', very violent but from the number I guess that's what most of you guys want. I prefer something more subtle.

In summary, I reckon that women don't so much get upset by husbands talking of castration, but rather find it tedious when it gets repetitive. And of course it's a difficult concept to come to terms with in the first place. Once I'd got used to the idea itself it became more acceptable.

Jocelyn,

Wife of a fantasist....

Re: Do women get upset that their husbands talk of this too much ?

My situation is in no way violent. My wife was very supportive for that matter, which is awfully rare in a woman to encourage her husband to alter his sexuality and abilities, but to see ahead his happiness and the happiness of the couple.
For this reason I think that the change was not that dramatic and we still have a sex-life.
I am grateful for her support and wisdom as I was very aware of what that means, especially in someone as young as I am, who should be in their prime, but mental peace is better in all cases.
I can't say I stopped liking women, though, but those feelings are definetly not the same anymore, but sexually is less of an aspect in the equasia. Her sex drive is also lower, so we can say I tried to reach a balance in that my sex drive almost disapeared, but not completly.

Re: Do women get upset that their husbands talk of this too much ?

My last discussion on the subject with my wife was sometime ago when I suggested that we make love before she left for a business trip. "I thought that we agreed that I would be the person to bring the subject up from now on?", she said. "We did", I replied, "but I don't want you to feel deprived while you are away". "Your sweet, but no thanks. I'll be fine.", was her answer.

Was her sex drive always that low?

My wife's libido declined significantly after menopause but it was never very sexual to begin with. She warned me about it when I was dating her.

Re: Do women get upset that their husbands talk of this too much ?

This is very similar to my situation although my wife didn't reach menopause yet, her libido was never that strong. But she seems to like it more now after my castration, maybe because she too feels I don't need sex that often anymore.
