who actually does real penectomies other than in Thailand?
Is the myth of the "cutter" real?
I'd like to have some serious discussions on the topic

I saw pictures of a guy called "Marcel" on the "penectomy" yahoogroup's photo section. His urethra seemed to come out of the stump of his severed penis, rather than being relocated to a position convenient for peeing while sitting. I think he was done by a cutter.

I was also cut by a cutter but my urethra was relocated to between my legs for ease of urination. I believe Marcel has since had further surgery to relocate his urethra also.

Hello, I know Marcel, too. Had have mail contact with him and he gave me the address of his cutter.

I was in contact with the cutter. But since a few weeks I didn't find him on the Net. And I don't know, what's happen.

There are several options that are closer than Thailand.

There are at least several private clinics in Canada that provide penctomies/castrations/nullo's for NON-SRS clients and do not require the Standard SRS Assignment Test.

Mexico, same as above...

Dr. Spector traditionally has only provided castrations, but his new partner (a urologist, I believe) may be providing a broader range of services.
His info has been floating around forever her on the Archive.

Locate a Kink-Aware Practioner (google search for same) for a Psychologist and have him/her assist you to get the services you want from a Urologist (some Urologists need you to be certified "sane").

In most major cities, you can find kink or biker bars or goth club that may direct you to good resources. Just be careful to make sure that you're talking to individuals who won't get freaked by your particular interests. This may take several months.

Yankee Clipper, a nice bold statement like that (" There are at least several private clinics in Canada that provide penctomies/castrations/nullo's for NON-SRS clients and do not require the Standard SRS Assignment Test.") really needs more followup information than "grep for it."

If you have actual information rather than third or fourth hand rumor, it would be nice if you could provide it OR to provide a better suggestion for where/how to look.

In the time I've been around I've seen a lot of "referrals" that lead nowhere.

If there are competent medical folks closer than Thailand who offer these sorts of services, there are a good number of folks who would like to have solid information about them.

Unfortunately, I had stumbled onto the sites while "grepping" (so to speak) and do not now have the links. I do understand your frustration that 'you've seen a lot of "referrals" that lead nowhere.' As I recall, I had gone through hundreds of cancer links while finding the few links I did stumble upon. I lost the links when my hard drive crashed.
