Penis Banding and Pain

I have been banding my penis (I never band testicles) for several years now. sometimes i lose feeling for a while but it always comes back. My intention is to kill all feeling in my penis permenantly or semi-permanently. I have two questions: First, how lonfg and how much do you need to band to effectively kill the nerves in the penis, thereby achieving a virtual penectomy?; second,
does the pain of banding diminish the more and longer you band tyhe penis?
I still am no where near my goal of killing the feeling and am still experiencing pain when banding. I can usually go no more than 1 hour and 15 min.

You are never going to get the result that you seek in the manner that you are seeking it. All you are going to do is ruin your erection mechanism (hydralics) and end up with big varicose veins in your penis.

The nerve will be the last thing to die and you are bound to have some signficant internal scarring that will result in crooked erections provided that you can get them naturally.

You really need to seek a counselor. You may not need it but a check up won't hurt. Well, at least not as bad as you penis will when you finally figure out that you have had enough...

Hate to get into this, but: what do you plan to do once you are successful? Do you have another means to relieve the sexual pressure which builds over time?

Before castration, I tried banding but got nowhere. Then tried topical anesthetics, but the effect only lasted so long.

But now, because of castration, I enjoy "pre-pubertal numbness". Mr. Penis is down there but I barely feel him. Post-castration, but when I still had some libido, I would touch Mr. Penis at night wondering whether to masturbate then say to myself, "No. It would be a shame to wake him" (because of the numbness), then smile to myself and drift off to sleep.

If the other effects of castration are acceptable to you, you may want to look into it further. Try the chemical version first if you're unsure.

What you want to do is to pinch the pudendal nerve. This is the principal sensory nerve of the penis. It lies very close to the surface in the perineum (the crotch). For this reason, riding a bicycle with a hard old-fashioned seat which bears directly on the perineum can cause numbness of the penis which, if repeated oten enough can become permanent. It also causes vascular damage which can cause impotence. In the 18th and early 19th centuries in England, ill-behaved soldiers were disciplined by forcing them to "ride the wooden horse" This contrivance consisted of two thin boards fastened edge-to-edge and raised well above the ground. The offender was placed astride the sharp hard edge of the angle between the boards and his ankles weighted by tying "firelocks" to them. Eventually, it was realized that this form of disciplinary torture "damaged the man materially". Specifically, it caused hernias and permanent anaesthesia of the "virile member". A similar disciplinary torture was employed at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in the early 19th century. The offending cadet was mounted astride the barrel of a four-lb. cannon and tied in place. Then the cannon was towed by a team of horses over rough roads, pounding the cadet's testicles and perineum. This practise was discontinued only after it was established that it caused impotence and permanent paralysis of the penis. Riding a man out of town on a rail, (astride a length of fence rail with his ankles weighted) a popular means of dealing with swindlers and assorted scoundrels in the U.S. throughout the 19th century, had the same effects. This punishment was often combined with tarring and feathering which, more often than not, was fatal. It is apparent, then, that sitting astride a hard and/or sharp object is a very effective way of numbing the penis, eventually permanently. BTW, it is practically painless.

I wouldn't count A-1 as "people".

Just be sure of what you really want and how you go about it. Understanding you will get; it's replies that might come more slowly.

I have been banding for over 20 years and never have I had an erection problem. Everyone is different though.

Shrinks are rarely of any use. They'll just give you a scientific sounding label for your supposed shortcomings and then prescribe you some useless drugs which don't allow you to enjoy the sunshine, the outdoors in the wintertime and most of all no alcohol. Shame on you for wanting to have any fun. So please whatever you do do not see a shrink and just get out and have some fun. As for your goal I think there has been someone around that's achieved that. -Just don't know who though.

Listen A-1. If you continue on this path you will destroy your erection mechanism and quite possibly get a blood clot that goes to your heart and kills you. That is a real possibility. Elements in our blood—round platelets, which are produced in bone marrow—are constantly flowing through the blood stream on the lookout for leaks in blood vessels to plug. When they find a tear in need of repair, they become "sticky," and clump together. If they find an inner tear/tare inside your penis, which can occur from banding/restricting blood flow, a clot (clump of platelets) can form. This clot can dissipate or travel, if it travels to your heart, lights out. Pulmonary embolism. I know, I know, the likelihood is slim, but it is possible. Would I band my penis and take the risk? Not me.

I am nto one for penis banding of any kind as I still intend to have more children,so I am not looking to interfere with the hydraulics.

But I also don't think you need to see a Psychiatrist. It's your body and, contrary to my catholic education, you should be able to snuff out feeling in your penis if you wish.

Plus, I have a vested interest in keeping mine around for the long haul since I am pretty endowed, which has led to embarassing moments.

I agree why do some people on this site need to tell us to see a shrink or "be careful you are gona end up in the hospital". We are adults and we know what we are doing and we know the risks.

Just because someone is an adult doesn't mean they know the risks. I think it is great that people on this forum will offer information about risks. Adults can say thanks for the advice but I will go ahead and destroy myself anyways.

Because frequently, a number of folks are consumed with an obsessive-compulsion, and that is often difficult to overcome - whether as the obsessive or the outside party. Information and admonishment is often the only intervention available, and all too often is futile. Keep up the warnings - sometimes they work.
