Elizabeth is correct, if Mitt the Twit has nothing to hide, show the taxes. The fact that he will not suggests that if we knew what he did over the last 10 years it might be legal but most Americans would look at him like he was a piece of shit.

So the question remains, how much of Mitt's money is in offshore accounts were he does not pay tax on it?

The bigger question is this, if he does have offshore accounts what does that say about him being our leader?

Is that the kind of guy you want in the white house?

As Moi would say, we have questions and the 1% is hiding it.

Just a thought, even if the tax rates for both capital gains and income are put back to the time before Reagan, that 1% has already made their money, it will take years to get it back to the working man, because no matter how you divide the pie there is only 100% of anything and right now that 1% owns double what they did in 1980.

Another clue as to who might know something is that when Nancy Pelosi jumped in and added the weight of her words to the accusation, no Republican stepped up to refute her defense or HArry Reid or even take her to task. Reince Preibus didn't say anything about Nancy Pelosi.

For those who don't understand that statement - the Republican Party is in intimate and daily contact with Mitt Romney's campaign. They are not separated by anything. Everyone else but PRiebus is running away from the Reid comment and he is attacking in the worst way. Priebus has been told by Romney's inner circle that something in the taxes is bad, bad, bad...

I was taught by a very wise Republican, who said we should trust Mitt at his word, but somehow we need to verify his taxes. Unless he releases his taxes like his father did we have no way to follow President Reagan's advice. A side note, I am more than a little troubled he believes in supporting the industries of the Swiss, Cayman and Bahama by investing in their banks instead of US.

This isn't a criminal investigation and Romney has no Fifth Amendment rights against self incrimination when running for political office.
Which, in his case is lucky because he has said so many stupid and ignorant things.

The fourth amendment deals with Search and Seizure by governmental authorities without a warrant and probable cause.
No one is forcing him to hide or reveal his tax returns. It's all his choice.

I just figured out how, if it is true, Mitt Romney never paid income taxes.
He (could be) is a high Minister of the Mormon Church and as such is immune because
they make it "all Church related" in the Great Mormon Family.
