Back to the original part of the thread. I work for a very talented multimillionaire. He owns several very successful businesses. He is the CEO and Cof B of all of them, and holds principal ownership, although small parts of all are held by others. He does NOT report to the office of each company daily, but he attends all board meetings, and is directly involved with any decision that affects earnings or operations. The way he has been successful is that while he has effective day to day managers in place, he himself is overseeing every facet of business.
This surely was the case at Bain. Yes Romney might have moved on to other ventures, but with the amount of money that he had at stake, you can be sure that he was keeping close tabs on the day to day operators. The man is just slimy.
I surely do not want for president, a guy who really exemplifies all the negative things one can dream of about a rich conservative. He hides wealth, has participated in the outsourcing of jobs, has buried profits, taken advantage of and supported absurd tax breaks to the wealthy, and then denies any of it. Add to that he slams the "Obamacare" law, and he himself enacted a very similar one in Massachusetts. Smarmy Smarmy Smarmy!
