uncommon side effects from chemical castration

I wanted to know if anybody here has the same effects from castration (physical or chemical) as me. Besides general side effects, i`ve noticed some side effects that are a bit weird. For example, I`ve had a lot of cravings for food (especially burgers) which has turmed to be a bit of a problem for me. Now i am, much more prone to need affection from others and to look for other`s aproval. Also, I had a bit of a trouble for falling asleep and I`ve lost some of my dreams. Also. i`ve learned to cook better, I am becoming a florist next year and I got some better skills for becoming a handyman.
I got a better relationship with my boyfriend and we got quite closer. Thanks to everyone who reads this and shares their thoughts here.

Welcome to emotions. Castration means that you've lost almost all testosterone in your body and this causes mental and emotional changes. You're thinking and feeling like a woman does. Estrogen rises without testosterone supplementation. Estrogen makes you more emotional like women, that's why you're more prone to affection. You probably cry more easily, you're probably more compassionate and perhaps even more loving, more nurturing. This takes time and you might not be experiencing all of these things yet, but you will. I suppose that some men who seek castration aren't aware of this, but it's a fact. Estrogen is taking over your mind and body. Most eunuchs like these changes, physically, you're penis should be shrinking too. Hormonal changes are what's causing your loss of sleep. I was a mess for weeks, then I started using OTC sleeping pills and added back a little testosterone via compounded testosterone cream, you might need to go this route because without sleep, you won't be able to function very well. Not sure about the other skills except that once castrated, you think more clearly because testosterone is no longer pushing you to think constantly about sex. Clarity of thought is a result of castration for most eunuchs.

Not surprising with the cravings. Back in 98 or so, when my T levels were first falling, I craved greasy, fried foods. Deep fried "you name it", I'd eat it! Got fat. Tried to eat healthy then, all the no-fat, low-fat ADA/AHA government recommended shit. Got even fatter, and downright sick.

If you're craving burgers, wrap them in large lettuce leaves and discard the buns.
Read the labels on buns and bread: sugar, corn syrup, cellulose (sawdust) and lots of empty calories and useless carbs.
It's not the meat/cheese that's the problem - it's the damnable "fake" bun.

As far as nutrition, we're all being lied to in order to promote the profits for Big Agra and Big Pharma.

Without T you will feel more emotional as the E rises. I really like the feelings on no T but my wife wants me on it so I am trying to stay on it but I don't know how long I can go before I just do something that will change things for good.

My experience is that if one has low T for any significant amount of time, HRT normally will not bring back libido to what it was before having low T.

After castration I went off salt and sugar. I cook and eat vegetables without using salt, I don't use sugar in tea or coffee and I can't drink sweet fizzy drinks. Cakes, biscuits and cookies rarely pass my lips. Eleven years since castration and my weight hasn't increased in that time. I suppose I'm fortunate.

Kudos. That is great. I use to crave salt, not sugar. I don't add salt to anything now, but I do not cook my own food. Dine out a lot and eat prepared frozen dinners; I get the "healthy " ones. They have less salt, fat, and chemicals than in the past. Getting better. Best I can do without becoming a organic food cook. Glad to hear that it is possible to keep weight down once the balls are gone. Wonder if the weight gain thing applies to us virtual eunuchs (very low T, but not cut). I've been virtual for over a year now and have not put on the weight.

Cooking isn't that hard to learn, so long as you don't try anything too fancy. A small tabletop grill is a good way to start. You can cook almost anything on it. I like grilled pork chops with a nice wedge of fat, wrapped in bacon, with a shot of lime and some black pepper.

It's really easy to make your own butter, too...hehe

I'm certain that very low T equals zero T where weight gain is involved. You're doing yourself a huge amount of good by reducing your intake of salt, fat and additives and that's why you haven't put on weight in the last year. Healthy eating can be a chore to start with but soon becomes part of your way of life and is no bother at all. Just think of the money you'll save by not having to buy larger and larger clothes! Good luck and keep up the good work.

Oddly enough, when I had that short run of HRT some years ago ( I don't recall the name of it ) it was like hitting puberty again.
Sex drive? Yeah, I had it...lookin' back, better off without it.

It was a little green pill, a 30 day run, and I stopped that crap after I found out about potential liver issues from the pharmacist - not the Dr.

Not a pleasant experience, in retrospect.
