Republican registration for Independent.
Yet, the GOP can still get a California governator elected.
Why not a Senator in recent history?

Apparently more people are less likely to call themselves Republican
yet end up, voting Republican.

Go figure.

Meanwhile, the question remains: Will Romney make peace with the Paulist before the convention?

You know in our lifetime there have not been that many republican senators in California. I think Murphy was the last and that was over 30 years ago. Arnie was a very liberal republican not like Reagan or Pete. However the states congress has almost always been democrat led. Other then Orange county most of the state is democrat.
