I believe one can safely add GEORGE Romney to that list. He was one of the best governors that Michigan has ever had. He currently spins in his grave every time his son opens his mouth.

if this is true the auto industry did go bankrupt and dont see how that argument flies


My sister and brother in -law are collecting unemployment when their company called her back twice and him once to come back to work over a year ago

they enjoy not working

i dont blame them because its nice getting paid to kill time at home

The candidates meant when going bankrupt that GM would also close down and quit business. Such as Rambler, Kaiser, Studebaker, and Packard.

I'd love to retire too.

Not everyone that is laid off and takes the Unemployment Benefits they EARNED is just sitting around killing time. Some know that being called back is impossible and many are actually looking for a replacement job.

This republican platform is quite frightening. Gareth19's additions make even more so.

I had reason to be associated with a right-winger. He wasn't dumb or stupid by any means. However, he was quite angry and lashed out at most anyone he came in contact with over minor and petty stuff. He never had a good thing to say about anything, except how much money he had, then he seemed less angry.

And that is why I left the party, its not the party of my father, or even the party I belonged to for most of my life. The republican party today is an angry, vindictive, in your face, take no prisoners party.

Mac I am confused with your post, what does the statement in red have to do with the statement in black? One talks about republicans lying, which they are doing as stated above, so what does this have to do with renewable energy? Your posts are starting to look like my good friend when he has been smoking to much pot.
