Question Are there many married men getting castrated without telling their wives?

In conversations I was told by a few different married men who said they got castrated without telling their wives. Their wives usually just thought it was aging and were none the wiser. I also read Dr. Spectors: Castration Manual and he also tells the story of one of his married patients he castrated that did not tell his wife either. Does this really happen very often and I would like to hear more about it.

I would think that would be a little difficult to hide from a wife if they have any kind of close relationship at all, but plausible. If neuticles were substituted for the testicles and he did it on a "business trip," she might be none the wiser, but even if she didn't spot the change between his legs, she might well notice the relatively sudden lack of libido, the weight gain and other side-effects. Are you thinking of doing this? If so, I'd be interested in your story.

I think a more common approach (from those I've talked with) is to convince their wife that pain or malfunction
makes it "necessary" to have then taken off. If they do alcohol first, in secret, this ruse seems to work well.

My wife had a hysterectomy before I was castrated. She lost interest in sex and I did have a testicular injury years before that she new about. Epididymitis? That was my excuse for removing my first testicle and even though I self castrated my left testicle, she was no more the wiser because she didn't really care. She went with me when Dr. Kimmel removed my right testicle in 2006 making me a eunuch. I can vividly remember both of us sitting and talking with Dr. Kimmel. He explained a lot of things to her about castration and she willingly accepted it.

Sure, if you are just a "friendly" couple it should not be a big deal.

I am married, and I would NEVER ever discuss my thoughts on being castrated with her. When I expirimented with chemical castration, she did not know anything about it and still does not. Our marriage is not the sweetest, but not totally bitter either, so my body is MINE and mine alone, if I choose to dye my hair, get a tattoo, body piercing, castrated, etc. etc. that is MY business, she also has the same liberties that I demand for myself and I believe every person should have. Your body is yours, married or no, if family and friends do not want to let you be who you really are, then you need to change the family and friends around you. Seriously, if you want to get castrated, and the person who "loves" you should object, is what she is feeling for you real "love," because I think MOST wives do not in fact LOVE thier husbands, what they actually feel is more accurately described as "pride of ownership" rather than calling it "love."

Whoa there, even in a bitter marriage there should be some level of communication. Heck, if its that bitter, your wife might gladly do it! While things do happen in life; illness, injury, etc..., do think you shouldn't castrate yourself behind your wife's back. Now maybe you could ask for a little rough ballplay, say with a mallet, and shazzam, it becomes a team project!!

DeaconBlue - that's also my opinion. It#s my body... and my wife only expects that I can guarantee her life in wealthy conditions. Very rarely you will find a woman who can feel love; most of them hate men and would take and spend the money of men.
My wife will not notice if I was or will be castrated. There is no sexual intercourse for more then 20 years. Like other women she hates my genital equipment, she even hates it to look at me when I am naked, casually. To be married is really bad luck and the biggest fault I have done

wow a lot of misogyny here. Fair enough to say your body is your own, but you'd still expect that in a relationship that both parties have enough love and respect for each other to at least discuss it. Given the sort of self-centered sentiments expressed by the individuals here I am not surprised that some of them are not in happy relationships?

Agreed, wow that's some intense misogyny.

It sounds like there's bitterness on both sides in some marriages, which underscores the need to really get to know your mate before saying 'I do.' Too many fall in love and find that they don't really like the person they fell in love with. Love is fickle; like is more durable. But to like someone, you have to know what makes them tick.

interesting turn in this thread, because today my husband was talking about how he loves me but never fell in love with me, actually he said he has never had that feeling of falling in love with anybody, he still loves me but misses that experience. not sure after 20 years i am supposed to make him fall in love but being a eunuch not sure sex is going to be the big key to solving this issue.

no no no!! it would be morally wrong to willingly be castrated without telling your partner, they married a man and deserve to have an opinion on the matter especially if their in a long term marriage, to even consider castration without their council is selfish beyond words. oh and gents if you resent your wives so much why dont you stop hiding behind excuses and man up or have you never heard of divorce? !! that is all !!
    suicide pact..... you first

to be real fair though, a man who is castrated isn't necessarily not a man anymore. If having not having testicles means one is not a man, then that is a huge affront to men who continue identifying as men after losing their testes due to illness or accident, as well as trans men who were born without testicles, and there is also the added implication that trans women born with testes are not women.

But with something that life-changing, it's still respectful to discuss it with one's PARTNER(whether in a straight or gay relationship). I mean, let's put gender and sex aside, if someone wanted their arm, or leg removed, I'd think it's still respectful to discuss it with the spouse.
