When I made a "sun don't shine" statement like this YOU went to complain about it and River and Paolo both were pissed off...

Now YOU try it? What makes YOU think that YOU are so much better than anyone else? WHAT gives you THE RIGHT TO SAY WHAT THE REST OF US CANNOT WITHOUT BEING CHASTISED?

Well, you $#%&%&*%$^_&_^%$&&!!!! Here we go AGAIN!!!

Furthermore, YOU do not understand BUSINESS and neither does that STUPID OLD SON-OF-A-BITCHING FOSSIL, RON PAUL.

I offer as proof YOUR thread about moi's money... If YOU know so much about money and investing then WHY do you have to bother Bob/3 all the time about investments? Why? I will tell you why. You know less than Ron Paul about finances and he don't know SHIT about money, economies, banking, business, investments and world economies.

He is just a STUPID OLD doctor with a big fucken mouth that don't know when to shut up. He has not practiced for years and as far as everyone is concerned as far as I can see he is a PISS POOR politician to boot! The only way that he could possibly get elected is to run as a congressman in a poor district in rural Texas where the people are not much smarter than the cattle and they smell much worse.

YOU KNOW AS WELL AS I DO THAT THE REASON WHY HEALTHCARE COSTS HAVE RISEN SO MUCH IS BECAUSE OF THE HEALTHCARE VENDORS, DRUG COMPANIES AND CROOKED-ASSED INSURANCE COMPANIES.

Until the Affordable Healthcare Act the Medical Insurance companies were shaping the face of healthcare in America and they were doing it by making the claimants who collected the most from them OUT OF NETWORK, and driving them into bankruptcy OR FORCED mergers.

They violated Taft-Hartley Anti-trust acts at will and flaunted their immunity from Interstate Commerce Commission, bought off state insurance adjusters and regulators and lobbied the states in which they did business to get the laws amended to allow them to do as they damn well pleased.

You complain about Kaiser-Permente ALL of the time but they are only one of a number of HEALTH INSURANCE giants that fucked over the medical profession at will.

Well, It all came to a GRINDING halt when the FTC and the U.S. Department of Justice got jurisdiction over these ass holes with the REPEAL of McCARRON-FERGUSON Act of 1945 that gave them IMMUNITY.

moi, what YOU know about education and running a school, college or university could be written on a POSTAGE STAMP still leaving room for the entire text of Leo Tolstoy's "WAR AND PEACE".

It is disgusting seeing the viewpoint that there is ‘something’ wrong with the educational system in America. Ever since 1983’s “A Nation at Risk” during the Reagan era education has been made the whipping boy for every two-bit political candidate and every sensationalized rumor mill that has the nerve to call itself “News”. It would be laughable if it were not so pathetic, just like the ignorant asses that claim that we have ruined our work ethic by using computers…it’s BULLSHIT!!

People cannot seem to understand that the real enemy of education is not the U.S. Department of Education, the teacher’s union, the Public School system or even the Colleges or Universities in America. The tool that is being used to destroy education is the ideologies that have a common thread of disrespect for education, educators and educational systems in America because of the freedom that education provides to humanity.

We think nothing of bumper stickers that say, “…my kid beat up your honor student” or “…my Pit Bull Dog is smarter than your honor student”. We just laugh about it. However, it is not funny that the rich 1% bums of America foster disrespect of the institutions of education and prominent educators through propaganda. Then, at the grass roots level, the public expects education to improve. This is like poisoning the well and expecting medicine to save us when we are dying from the poison.

As far as the ‘comparison’ of America to foreign countries, that is no comparison. Remember that in foreign countries that not everybody has to go to school. Some children start working at ‘jobs’ that pay wages lower than anything that you can imagine and then work all of their lives living in poverty making money for the wealthy.

If they can manage to live into adulthood they die before they are middle aged. It is just like having slaves, except the chains are financial and are forged in ignorance. Only the elite in those countries even take a mathematics test. If those lucky enough to go to school do not perform they join the ‘workforce’ with no hope of ever returning to school to better themselves through education.

For education to be ‘cost effective’ do we have to reduce it to only ‘training the workforce’? Education and educators do have a primary goal of improving everyone’s life through education but ‘training the workforce’ is just a byproduct of the primary goal, not ‘the primary goal’.

The partial goal of the propaganda of the 1% pertaining to education is to force the taxpayer to train ‘their workforce’ because it is cost efficient and they can make more money that way. When technology changes and the ‘workforce’ do not have the foundational elements of a fine education they cannot learn new technologies alone, so they need to be ‘trained’ again.

Once you have an education it cannot be taken away. You ‘train’ APES but you ‘educate’ people unless you believe that there is no difference.

    Re: Ron Paul, M.D.

From a Ron Paul newsletter on how to avoid AIDS:

At the recent world AIDS conference in Japan, researchers admitted what I have long told you: there is no prospect of a cure or vaccine for AIDS. For one thing, the virus keeps mutating. A drun that might work today won't work tomorrow. Researchers also admitted that they had been lying about the incidence of heterosexual AIDS to increase funding for homosexual programs.

Those who don't commit sodomy, who don't get a blood transfusion, and who don't swap needles are virtually assured of not getting AIDS unless they are deliberately infected by a malicious gay, as was Kimberly Bergalis. Note: more and more patients ask if their physician and dentist are married and have children.
The more I see of this guy the happier I am that he will never be President.
There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so.

    Re: Ron Paul, M.D.

Moi asked me to post here about abolishing the Fed. I've no idea what Paul's position is, but if he wants to do that, he's an idiot.

The US needs a central bank to make monetary policy, relatively free of political pressure, as does every advanced economy. The US has always had a central bank, whether official or de facto. Before the Fed, it was J.P. Morgan. There's a long line going back at least as far as the Second Bank of the United States, against which Andrew Jackson fought.

There is a case to be made against the Fed. It has had a major role in causing every recession for the last 50+ years. Before each recession, the Fed has raised interest rates too high in an over zealous effort to control inflation. This causes an "inverted yield curve." Short-term interest rates are normally much lower than long-term because risk of default rises with the term of a loan. The Fed has direct control only over short-term rates, so when it raises interest to combat inflation, it's pushing up short-term rates. When the Fed goes too far and makes short-term rates higher than long-term - an inverted yield curve - a recession follows within six months, since the severing of rates from risk discourages banks from making long-term loans and businesses from making short-term loans, resulting in a freeze of the credit market and a slump in business activity. Were there no Fed, this couldn't happen, BUT without someone making monetary policy much greater trouble would follow. The intelligent control of credit is essential to the functioning of an economy. Mistakes are inevitable, but the alternative is chaos and collapse. Some argue for a new gold standard or an equivalent to remove human error from monetary questions, but that does not have the flexibility or the ability to accommodate rapid growth that we need. A competent central bank walks the fine line between inflation and deflation. It's hard to keep to that line, but there's no better alternative.

I would but YOU have been a member here too long, provide much comic relief for those without THC contaminated brains who can think and you are an easy target for LIBERALs when compared to Bob/3's conservative intellectual approach.

BTW, if you didn't "smoke" so much you would not sleep with that BU "zzz".

    Cool Re: Ron Paul, M.D.

    http://news.yahoo.com/ron-paul-quiet...-abc-news.html
". . . But behind the scenes (Dr. Paul) Campaign Manager Jesse Benton admits to ABC News that the team is plotting a back up strategy in case the congressman doesn't pull in enough delegates to become the nominee.
If the campaign comes up short at the convention, Benton says the plan is to use all the delegates awarded to Paul as a bargaining chip to force the Republican Party to stick to its limited government platform.
Benton says this could include auditing the Federal Reserve and winding back several parts of the Patriot Act, including roving wire taps which he says were originally written with the intent of expiring. . ."

I do hope it is an "open" convention requiring multiple ballots. What fun.
Progressives influence. Even when failing selection. Even if Dr. Paul's delegates are not needed to acquire the nomination, the nominee will have to come to terms with the Paulist wing of the GOP.

I do not know if I am more perceptive than the average person or if I am just more sensitive to its manifestations, but I was convinced early in his first term that Reagan had alzheimer's. I am just am firmly convinced that Ron Paul is suffering from this horrid disease. Watch his face when he is asked an actual question and not one that is scripted for him. It is scary, folks.

One of the things you wont see at the republican convention is surprise. It will be totally scripted in a typical republican way.

    Re: Dr. Ron Paul, 2012?

Just as Democratic conventions are scripted in a typical Democratic way. Really, River, there is no such thing as an unscripted convention in this media age. Do you think either party would hold its convention without knowing in advance what would be said and done on national TV? Just show up and see what happens? You've got to overcome this habit of attributing things to one party that are common to all. Today, both parties have selected their candidate before their convention begins, and everyone knows who it is. The last convention I can remember that had any suspense was the one where Eddy Kennedy tried to unseat the incumbent Jimmy Carter.

    Re: Dr. Ron Paul, 2012?

When will Ron Paul get too bad to read the scripts?

Still, I like his style, but I would never vote for him. His ideas are not good. Governments exist to protect the public, not to provide a framework for the rich to get richer and the strong to get strong enough to kick hell out of the little guy...

HOWEVER, Snoop wants to legalize marijuana and so does Ron Paul.

    Not exactly.
Dr. Paul says Marijuana is not a Federal area of responsibility. What the States or individuals do with it is their choice.
Since there is so few or even two Ron Paul, M.D. sympathizers on Board; how about trying to be scrupulously accurate.

So what part of the 4th and 10 amendments do you have a problem with, I just read them and they have not changed in over 200 years, or do you know something I don't?
