    Re: Dr. Ron Paul, 2012?

I totally 'comprende' the constitution, all of it, to bad Paul does not. He only 'comprende' the parts he likes, the rest he would do away with. To bad to change the constitution takes more then an act of congress.

Like all the government agency's he would do away with Education is the deepest cut to freedom that we have. The man is a danger to this country, I am not worried about him as he will never be elected, ever. He is what he has always been a royal pain in the ass.

Maybe you should start by studying American History, start with the revolution and go from there, read the Articles of Confederation and understand what it was about and that is was a failure, then look at Paul again, if you and he understood American History you would understand the Constitution which is now well over 200 years old and has worked well for us.

No I will not take another look at Paul I have already spent more time on him then he deserves.

Content-free statement. You should not have bothered. The same statement could be said about his predecessor, and he was provably stupid.

You are so right, its so nice to have a president that speaks the English language. Someone that never gets to high or low, who is up beat. Someone who thinks education is more important then a bigger military budget. Note, the USA spends more on the military then ALL of the other country's in the world put together. Now there is a lot to be said for a military presents but do we really need 13 aircraft carriers? I would think 6 or 7 would be more then enough and at several billion to build and more millions to maintain how much of that is wasted and could be spent better, like education.

Anyone disagree with the viewpoint? If you read it that is. Where's Obama?

And in other news Dr. Paul says the Federals should get out of the Western States' land management.

    Re: Dr. Ron Paul, 2012?

I heard on one of the talk shows today that Ron Paul will not quit running for some office until some time after he is dead and buried if he gets his way. So it seems that A-1 is both right and wrong. Although, he is sinking in the polls. He will have some delegates at the convention but not enough to demand a big role.
Here's the current polling in NEvada and Arizona:

Ok I looked at the polls, and Paul finishes last in everyone of them sucking hind tit as it were.

So I ask the questions, actually A-1 asked the question but I will make it offical

Should we close this thread as we are tired of hearing about Paul?

Yes or No will do, I don't need any foul mouth comments.

    Re: Dr. Ron Paul, 2012?

I think what we are seeing is a fracturing of the Republican Party. The Hard right Christians AKA Tea Party, were blown out early. In areas dominated by Christians, Santorum is their next choice. Gingrich represents "Old, Rich, White guy" faction. Those who are worried that old world money, European roots, are loosing power and are afraid of the poor. Romney represents the elite rich and Ron Paul is leading the faction of Libertarians.

Because none of these have shown an ability to capture a majority, Ron Paul remains viable, especially in light of a possible brokered convention. As a legitimate candidate, with a definite constituency, it seems like censorship would only serve as a political statement in and of itself.

But even if that were not the case, I am against closing a thread simply because someone thinks everything that can be said, has been said.

Rather than close it, why not leave it open for moi to post in it? The rest of us can ignore the thread. The trick is to never to respond to any of his posts in the thread; better still...don't read them either.

    Slammr,

That is what makes moi's threads that he starts so long. We do not have Dick Nixon to kick around now, so moi makes a suitable surrogate.

    So kick away, good buddy!

If members no longer find a thread interesting, they'll just stop posting. Problem solved. That's the way it's always been. People don't need to be told what they find interesting.
