The other one, I can't remember the title. It was posted in 2011 just before the old archive went away. It probably has the word "plant" in the title, but none of the current ones in the archive match it. It's about a curious research student who finds a greenhouse in the back part of the research farm and is discovered by his professor and shown the new hybrid plant.

I really hate to post a second time because I know the editors are hard at work to bring us the stories that we love and miss, but I posted months ago and have yet to notice a reply to my post or see the story I requested on the archive. If the editors are working on it at the moment, please forgive me! I just feel that the request may have been overlooked.

I'd really LOVE to see Nathan's halloween stories brought back to the archive. "The Haunted House" has been edited and posted, but the other two, "Halloween and the Jack-O-Lantern Contest" and "Halloween and the 2nd Jack-O-Lantern Contest" have not been. If those are not the correct titles, the stories themselves had 13 men stand around a large pumpkin, to which their testicles were connected via wire. Thanks, again!

Just wanted to thank whomever is responsible for getting Washing Day back in the fiction archive, I had requested it a few weeks back.

I want to thank LuckyStrike and whoever edits "Halloween and the Jack-O-Lantern Contest." After seeing it recommended here, I checked it out using the Wayback Machine and found it to be a high quality story very much deserving of being near the front of the queue. Like so many stories it doesn't have much characterization. For example, we don't get any direct quotes from the people involved, but this story proves that it is merely a stylistic choice and not necessary for telling a good story. The minimalistic characters fit in well in a concise and clever story where just enough details are provided in just the right places to quickly present a great scenario in a way that is satisfying and never drags. Someone obviously put a lot of thought into this, and it's the sort of thing that inspires other writers to come up with interesting ways for someone to lose his balls. I certainly feel inspired, and I love contest stories.

No. They are two totally different stories. The "it Couldn't Hurt To Ask" was about a tattoo shop, guy wants a tattoo and ends up also getting a penectomy. There is an irate receptionist person and the guy at the end is ambivalent about his dick getting cut off. I think it was written by an anonymous writer.

I have been enjoying the new stories very much. However, when I click on the stars at the end of the story to give my rating. nothing happens. They should change to gold to show my level of thinking about the story. I Know that many of them show a star rating at the top of the page. Maybe even though I am trying, I can't change or add my rating to it.

But, there are some terrific stories available and I applaud the authors for their writing..
