In the late 1800's Jews started purchasing land as became Israel.
The initial partition by a 2/3rds vote of the General Assembly gave nationhood to a very small region compared to the pre-'67 borders.
Had these borders been respected in 1948, there would have been no Palestinian displacement. The new nation did not go on the rampage of declaring war against all the Arab nations, it was the other way around.
The UN did not back up its' partition with troops so the new nation was under a do or die situation. Ended up with expanded borders rather then being pushed into the sea.
You might consider doing a serious review of this history, or not.

The real economic power in the Middle East is Turkey because;
1) They had their financial meltdown years ago and have recovered to be the strongest economy around, especially compared to the PIIGS.
2) They have relations with everyone, Israel, Arab nations, Iran to the dismay of America, Russia for what it is worth, etc.
3) There is a Turk awakening in Finland, Hungary as used to deny it, and the 'stans with wealth as brings talk of re-establishing the Silk Road.
4) Turkey has a good developed industrial base and was one of the three finalist for the new NYC taxi. The Disabled feel the Turk model was better for access then the one selected.
5) Istanbul has both Ashkenazi and Sephardic communities. Eastern Orthodox Christians, too. Turkey also has Syrians, Kurds, probably a few Armenians, etc. Compare that to the killings of Christians by Zionist Cairo mobs. Oh, they weren't Zionist. They were Egyptian, Arab, Muslims.

My take is that during the colonial era nations were in a state of cold war when not in a hot war. Trade was something you did with your colonies. So the only way to "trade" was through the "international Jew". After Richard 1 kicked the Jews out of England, sans gold, Cromwell invited them back in order to get England's peice of the Caribbean. Cromwell understood if England was going to get involved in the Caribbean, he needed Jews.

But there appears to be a double standard operating here. It would seem that this thread comes closer to forbidden speech than the posts of Ms K!!!!nAB, who was banned here recently for mildly angry posts That decision seems much more proactive than this case. I saw no hint of racism in her posts, and her angry ones were aimed mostly at the government, and those posts were responding to hostile replies. She is hardly the only one angry at the government. I would challenge anyone who spent 7 years in a homeless shelter in a great American city not to have a lot of anger.

I think someone has an over-active imagination and a lot of paranoia, with his belief in a lot of conspiracy theories, variants of which have been spewed for decades.
I take a very simple view of zionism. It is about providing a home for the Jewish diaspora. It has many non-Jewish supporters, as well, who can be called zionists. I don't believe that being anti-semitic is necessarily the same as being anti-zionist, though most often they are.
I don't buy the "Some of my friends are (fill in the word)" claims, or the disavowals often made protesting righteousness about not being discriminatory. Such statements usually mean I am a bigot but don't want to appear as one.
In any case, I think this thread has about run its course.
