I took a big step the other day. I got myself circumcised. This was the first step of my master bod mod plan. While not exacltly as significant as loosing my balls, I did loose a major piece of my flesh. The circ is so tight I wonder what will happen when I can actually have an erection.

While my balls aren't working and intlectually I want them gone and my scrotum smoothed out, it still would be a big loss. Similar to what my circumsision was like, including the recovery hassles that go with it.

The quest for the circ also turned up a gay medical professional that given my case would do the surgery.

Now that makes it all very real.

So it's coming down to do I have the balls to go through with what I say I want.

I was in a similar situation 3 years ago (except that I had been circumcised neonatally). My natural hormone production had decreased considerably and I had been enrolled in a replacement program involving periodic testosterone injections (initially one month intervals so that my body would rely on natural production 2 of 4 weeks). I also suffered from periodoc infections of the epididymis (the numerous tubes at the top of the testicles). I already had acquired an obsession with being castrated. A doctor had told me in my 20s that my very tight package would be giving me problems by the time I was 50 y.o. I felt that the impact on my sexuality from being castrated would be minimal. After searching for many months, I finally found a vet's ass't that said he'd love to take my balls. I felt safe with him doing it. I went ahead and have never had any regrets. Having no balls is wonderful. I'm often nude socially (nude beaches, parties, etc.), and I was initially anxious that other guys would notice the flap of skin that used to be a full sac, but I'm no longer concerned at all. Most guys luv fondling it. A nurse at the gay medical clinic at which I'm a client finally admitted to me recently that the have quite a few castrates amongst their clients. And following castration, my doc became far less concerned with the impact of the testosterone replacement program on the health of my testes.

While recovery is not pleasant, it wasn't so unpleasant either. Although I returned to work the 2nd day following castration - probably too soon, I only had a small degree of discomfort for about 5 days, and most of the bruising that accompanies tying off the cords before severing was gone by 5 days as well. The two 3/4" incisions through which the balls were expressed were totally healed and nearly invisible in 3 weeks. If you mean having it removed by your remark about "smoothing your scrotum," recovery will be longer, but the surgeon should be able to minimize trauma in a way many cutters cannot. If you mean just having the sac reduced, there might not be any further trauma than I experienced.

Thanks for relating your experience.

I do want both my balls and scrotum removed. My balls have atrophied to the point that my scrotum is always shriveled up and constantly is either itching or getting pinched.

In terms of my balls, one has been the victim of my experiments with injections, and is really small. I definitely want that one out for health reasons not to mention a constant low-grade pain.

Like you I realized a while ago that my testosterone was in a jar in the bathroom, and the impact of loosing what’s left of my balls probably would not affect me much one way or the other. However until you go there you never know.

Being a gay man did the castration impact your social/sex life or relationships? My concern is my BF will really take off for the woods if I do the deed.

Do you ever get with someone and have him react badly to your lack of balls?

I'm sure there'd be consensus here that any current BFs etc. need to acquiesce to such a decision. If they're totally grossed out by the notion of your not having balls, you're perhaps correct in observing he'd desert y'a. I didn't have anyone so close when I had my balls harvested. That's at least one of the reasons that I felt the timing was propitious, and that aspect may work out. I know several guys with life partners that've been castrated, but they worked it out with their SOs before proceeding. Perhaps you could begin casually discussing castration as a fantasy. Take it slowly at first.

I currently have a BF that I originally met because he was considering castration and simply wanted to talk and meet castrates. An initial information session has turned into more than that (see message and story from NoBalz below). He's still considering it himself. He luvs my empty sac. He tells me that looking at the sac while fucking me really turns him on. We may end up yet as 2 co-habiting castrates. I've had other sexual partners that have just accepted the lack of balls. One of them in particular also enjoys fondling the empty ballsac. I've found that most guys don't care as long as one has a functioning member. The only 'rejections' have come from casual groping in gay cabarets and pubs. A few guys have abruptly stopped groping when they find no balls.
