After my threat how to publish my self-made video (see 01.01.11) I got the advice to gain a membership in www.malebodymods.com.
Because I dont have a personal Paypal- account I had to ask a friend of mine to do this for me. He did, created a new account, payed via paypal, but every time to log into this account the same text appears:
"you have to pay to complete your account"
The billing via paypal is definitely completed, so, what is this???
Those, who are more experienced, may tell me the reasons. I am really upset, obviously loosing bucks for nothing!

I am one of the moderators/administrators of the site, and this is the first time I'm hearing about this so you can imagine I'm a bit grumpy about being accused of being a fraud site administrator.

Far from being a fraud, perhaps you did not follow the directions. Instead of outright saying it is a fraud, you should have contacted us first. We can't help if we don't know there is an issue.

Your going out in the public domain claiming we are trying to defraud you because you've not yet completed the process to get an account there is rude at best, and asshole-ish at most. Most people that have tried signing up there have not had this issue, including several people that are logging into the site from Germany. Coming out here with your guns blazing like this kind of makes me not want to help you finish the process, but since I'm a reasonable person I'm willing to try. If you have indeed paid for it, I want to make sure you do get into the site.

I'll do what I can to help you if you send me a private message here on the EA that details exactly what's been happening with your login attempts, when you paid, and the messages you've gotten, your username, the e-mail address you used to sign up with, etc. I can't diagnose the problem if I don't know what you've been getting back from the site or what information I'm looking for. I've tried to use what you have listed on the Eunuch Archive to identify your Malebodymods account and I cannot locate you.

With what you posted here as the issue, I'm guessing that you didn't complete the initial sign-in process as quickly as was required, and the site clearly states we know of this issue regarding need to confirm the account quickly (usually within an hour of your initial sign-up) and if you encounter the type of issue you're having, that you need to contact us directly.

I also ran into an identical problem and tried several times to get in after paying via paypal. I finnaly found an email address that I wrote to and they corrected it within 2 hrs.
I am glad that I saw this post because i have forgotten that I am a member of that site.

I tried the new account today, an now it works. Thank you for your help!
I did not want to offend anybody running or moderating this site, but on the first look nothing worked with this site. And I am obviously not the only only one who had problems!
Well, I am not angry any more, I will check out how to load up my video.

before I wrote my frustration with this site here into the message board, of course I first tried to get into contact with the site owner using the contact- button on the sign-in page. But this didn´t work, because obviously the account has to be valid first, before you can use the contact form. Trying this, always the same text appeared: first you have to pay....
The concept of this site is o.k, the price is moderate, but I think, there are some details with this site, which should be changed.....

I just want to add my penny's worth to this subject.

I am not a moderator of MBM or any other similar site, but so appreciate this site and MBM for allowing me to share my experiences and get to know others with similar desires and wishes.

MBM had to change host recently and I am sure that process must have been a nightmare, however the administrators got the new site up and running and I must say its taking shape with huge improvements over the previous one.

I've had no issues with my subscription payment and I can continue to communicate with my friends and fellow modders.

A big thank you to this site and to MBM for allowing me to remove my blinkers and enjoy the rest of my life....just the way I want to.

Thanks Alfa. It *was* a major pain in the ass to get the new site up and running. We were given 30-days notice back in early October 2010 to get packed up and get out, so to speak. The old server service came up and said, "We'll even help you get the content off the site so you can do whatever you want with it..." which we took to mean a data dump onto disk, so that we could sort through it.

We waited a week, then asked the owners of the data service when the ability to download the data would become available and they said they would do it for a price. Nice, kicked us out because they didn't want to host adult content, then tried to extort money out of us to retrieve our data off the servers. We told them to get lost as we didn't have the funds to do both that and get the new site operational.

That left us with a dilema, so we had to scramble with 3-weeks left to go to retrieve as much data as we could manually, by recovering every movie from the site after letting it run in real time (150 videos at an average of 5-minutes each, or about 12.5 hours), about 2000 photos by opening them one at a time, etc.

The new site is much improved if for no other reason than all the content is now categorized. You can click on a link for a given interest, and it will take you to photos or videos of that. IE Subincisions, PA Piercings, etc. On the old site you had to wander through everything in a big pile and hope you could find what you were looking for.

We managed to get the download finished and re-post every video and about half the photos within a month and a half of our original take-down notification from the old service. I still have a lot to upload (probably about 700 photos, all the old videos are on there), but I've had much more important things to do like study to pass my state license exam so I can have the license and go to work in a new career field. After spending $22,000 US to get the new education, I'm sure people can see why I waited.

I'm sure the moderators here will agree with me, if not publicly at least to themselves, that being a moderator of a web site is a completely thankless job. We always hear when things go wrong, but it is seldom someone contacts you and says thanks.

So Alpha, for the post you made above letting everyone else know you've not encountered issues with the MBM site, I say thank you.

Well, please allow me to be among those to sincerely thank you guys for keeping MBM and this site up and alive.

Yes, I was a bit skeptical when the old site had to move and I had to pay another membership fee, but good grief...it's VERY reasonable! While I completely understand that different people have different financial circumstances, the amount asked is no more than one would spend for coffee or drinks in my country. And further, any issues I've seen on MBM have been quickly resolved. So for me, it's been problem-free.

So Losethem, consider me as one of the ones who are grateful that someone is willing to provide a resource for our community. Thanks again.
