Truth Moi, the truth is that he got caught with his shirt off, which is better then his pants down, but it amounts to the same, Now if he were a democrat, NO PROBLEM, but for a Republican, OH MY, that is just not done, why I am not sure, but it just is. I don't see a problem here, true I don't, the only problem is between him and his wife, as for the rest of it, quite frankly its none of yours or my business. Like I said, if it were a democrat, no problem, a republican, this is what happens when you walk around thinking your above everybody else then something happens you take a great fall.

    Such is life.

Hopefully some investigative reporter from the Washington Post or the New York Times will continue investigating this, "shirtless, so what" story as led to a Congressional resignation.

No he was wearing pants. He was shirtless and not naked.

It wasn't and it isn't anything more than this is an elected (and that is the key word, ELECTED) representative presenting the flimsiest of lies that he's ten years younger and available for dates when he is in reality 46, married and has a son...

He's stupid. So stupid he should never represent the USA or the voters of any state in anything at all. Would you want this man in negotiations with China? With Pakistan? With Russia?
    No, you wouldn't.

And by the way NO ONE in either party had a chance to call for his resignation. He resigned in 3 hours before any politician had a chance to comment.

So you are saying that he'd give them the shirt off of his back?

....plus he was a COWARD to boot? Typical avoidance of accountability for his actions which is the hallmark of a POLITICIAN...

...so HOW do you figure that he doesn't belong in Washington D.C.?

You ask such complex and philosophical questions.

Ask the first politically practical question --
New York State loses two congressmen once this current Census gets published. Here is a ripe and ready district that will be absorbed into surrounding districts.
    Why?
Because he's gone and whoever the parties put in to replace him until the redistricting takes place will know they are temporary.

Ask the second wifely and familial question:
How fast will his wife file for divorce if he stays in DC?
And, will he get any booty in the 6 months?

The only investigation that is going to happen is by his soon to be ex-wife, right after she makes him a member of our group.

OMG you do realize that what you hear in the tabloids will be a lie, there for your enjoyment, but a lie none the less, just go make up something that makes you happy and save the buck on the bird cage floor.

My first ex-wife used to scrounge the newspapers off the drunks sleeping in the alleyways on the streets of New York. Then she'd dry them out in the backyard overnight. She said so what if the paper was wrinkled and yellow stained. The New York Post was a yellow rag and printed piss-poor news anyway. Their motto was "if it bleeds, it leads" ...I used this in the divorce as a symbol of her cheapness. Not the motto but the clothes rack for drying newspapers in the back yard.

Now that contrasts to my second ex-wife. she wasn't a ballbuster like the first but rather a nympho and wannabee slut. I still have super 8 films of her giving blow jobs to hitchhikers and bikers that used to drive past our house on the highway. She was a one woman rest stop with complete service. Of course that wasn't wash and wax, it was just polish the knob and be done with it. She once puked up a dish of spaghetti on a biker's pair of white pants. That was how I got the goods on her adultery for the divorce. He really loved those pants and no amount of bleach or Oxy-Clean got that red stain out. Worse than skid marks or ass snot!

And that's the gory details for tonight.

Except that a Mexican gal I met and almost married, Estralita, I still drool at the name... got rid of her previous boyfriend - Julio - in one swift kick to the testicles. She launched his so far into orbit that they still tell stories of the Julio Positioning System.

Let's just say that I have a deadpan sense of humor and I write sci fi, fantasy and horror.

"Sci fi, fantasy and horror" could describe a couple of my marriages. --FLO--
