    News Corporation buys Republican whores

    >>News Corp is the parent of FOX NEWS.
    >>It just bought a bunch or Republicans.
    >>Bought and paid for the politicians at the door
    >>wholly owned politicians.
    >>We used to call them WHORES. Now we call them politicians. It's politically correct like they say...

The corporate parent of Fox News has donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association, and sees no bearing on the conservative network's "fair and balanced" approach to the news.

The donation comes from Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., which owns Fox News, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal and the Times of London.

"News Corporation believes in the power of free markets, and the Republican Governors Association's pro-business agenda supports our priorities at this most crucial time for our economy," the company said in a statement.

The donation comes at a time when Fox News has turned itself into a fund raising vehicle for Republican candidates, giving exposure to such contenders as U.S. Senate candidate Dino Rossi in Washington.

A trio of potential GOP presidential hopefuls for 2012 - Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich - are also on Murdoch's payroll.

"For a media company - particularly one whose slogan is 'fair and balanced' - to be injecting themselves into the outcome of races is stunning," Nathan Daschle, executive director of the Democratic Governors Association, said Tuesday. "The people owning Fox News have made a decision that they want to see Democratic governors go down to defeat. It's a jaw-dropping violation of the boundary between the media and corporate realm."

Jack Horner, a News Corp. spokesman, told the Washington Post: "It's patently false that a corporate donation would have any bearing on our news-gathering activities at Fox News or any other of our properties."

An arch-rival of Fox News, General Electric-- current owner of NBC - has donated $245,000 to Democratic governors, and $205,000 to Republican governors. Time Warner, owner of CNN and Time, has given $70,000 to the Democratic governors and $50,000 to their Republican counterparts, the Post reported.

But Daschle described the Fox contribution as "in a completely different league. Other media firms' donations are generally small and about equal to the many committees that receive money."

Republicans are defending governorships in three major states - California, Florida and Texas - this fall. They hope to capture Democratic-held statehouses in Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Oregon and Pennsylvania.

The Australian-born Murdoch, whose media empire stretches to three continents, previously gave $1 million to the California Republican Party.

Hari Sevugan, a Democratic National Committee spokesman, commented:

"Any Republican that appears on Fox should now have a disclaimer that they are financially supported by the network and any coverage of the elections this fall on Fox should be reported with disclaimer for what it is - partisan propaganda."

The only way to stop this shit is to boycott the sponsors of FOX news, don't buy there products and write them nasty letters. other then that like the Supreme Court has ruled people that own companies from other countries can now own our government to suit there will. Welcome to the new world order.

What happened to that ideal? Simple. Corporations were declared people. And as we all know, some people are more equal than others.

What does this mean? Since a corporation is technically now a person for all intents and purposes, your government can follow corporate orders without needing to rewrite any pesky laws or pieces of paper. Anytime a politician votes on behalf of a corporation, remember, they're voting on behalf of a person and doing exactly what they've been charged with (and paid for.)

Aren't there some Saudi sheiks who own controlling interest in FUX VIEWS?

In which case does this NOT amount to foreign interference in American elections and as such THIS is illegal.

I object to the language in this thread. I have known a number of whores in my life. While they may have had their problems, and their profession (the oldest by reputation) can be problematic to certain neighborhoods, they all provided a needed and desired and useful service, and in general made the world a better place. It is a vile slander to compare these useful people with the ass kissing, professional propagandists, and liars that are the staff of Fox Network.
