A rare peek into a Justice Department leak probe
When the Justice Department began investigating possible leaks of classified information about North Korea in 2009, investigators did more than obtain telephone records of a working journalist suspected of receiving the secret material.

They used security badge access records to track the reporter’s comings and goings from the State Department, according to a newly obtained court affidavit. They traced the timing of his calls with a State Department security adviser suspected of sharing the classified report. They obtained a search warrant for the reporter’s personal e-mails.

The case of Stephen Jin-Woo Kim, the government adviser, and James Rosen, the chief Washington correspondent for Fox News, bears striking similarities to a sweeping leaks investigation disclosed last week in which federal investigators obtained records over two months of more than 20 telephone lines assigned to the Associated Press.

At a time when President Obama’s administration is under renewed scrutiny for an unprecedented number of leak investigations, the Kim case provides a rare glimpse into the inner workings of one such probe.

Court documents in the Kim case reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010. The case also raises new concerns among critics of government secrecy about the possible stifling effect of these investigations on a critical element of press freedom: the exchange of information between reporters and their sources.

“Search warrants like these have a severe chilling effect on the free flow of important information to the public,” said First Amendment lawyer Charles Tobin, who has represented the Associated Press, but not in the current case. “That’s a very dangerous road to go down.”

Moi, if you actually watched the news tonight you would know that most of the schools and a lot of town have safe areas, this school was not one of the but they have been using FEMA money to upgrade all areas of public buildings and people can build a safe room in their house with FEMA money, like all things Moi, it dose not happen over night it takes time to upgrade everything.

I believe that the vast majority of American doctors will only perform an orchiectomy after they first follow prescribed medical procedures. In other words, there has to be a medical justification to remove them. Those doctors who would do it on an elective "no questions asked" basis are few and far between. If having your testicles removed by a female surgeon is a prerequisite and you have no sound medical reason for castration, perhaps you might have better luck looking in Eastern Europe for one, in my humble opinion. There are also several regular UK contributors on this site who have been successful in getting castrated in the UK. You may want to search them out to see what they can suggest to you.

Regarding EF-4 and EF-5 tornadoes...

Here is a little experiment, try it in a swivel chair with plenty of leg room.

Spin yourself in your swivel chair with your legs straight out. Now, without stopping, pull your legs up into the chair, "Indian style". Did you notice that you spun faster when you pulled your knees in?

Now, as for Tornadoes. Generally, the narrower the tornado swath, the higher the wind speed becomes, relative of course, to the general strength of the storm. Thus, the Moore, OK tornado of 1999 while having a narrower path, had higher wind speeds. The 2013 tornado with a much wider path had slower wind speeds. Not taking into account, of course, the duration of the wind destruction for one in the direct path of the wider tornado will experience winds for much longer, depending of course, upon the speed with with which the storm was moving. (ex... 30 mph vs 60 mph) Hence, similar destruction.

A social worker, where Monty is being kept, called here to speak to Liz but she was out on errands. I told the social worker that I didn't want Monty back. She asked why so I listed my reasons:
(1) his drug use.
(2) his threatening me and the neighbors
(3) his unfounded claims that we are all trying to kill him with poison gas
(4) his theft of my property
(5) his stealing of my electricity
(6) his turning my driveway and backyard into a junkyard.
(7) his playing loud music at 2:00 to 4:00 am keeping me awake

She seemed very interested in my reasons for not wanting him back.

Monty has a court date this week.
