  3. sad

    A good friend of mine passed away and I'm very sad about it.
    A gentleman who served in WW2 and wrote about it and then worked in newspapers. I met him and his wife at the symphony many years ago and got to be friends. He was 96 years old and a always a gentleman with a smile and a kind word. his wife passed away about five years ago.
    The one of the elegant people that had no guile or mean streak and made you feel good. He's not the first symphony friend that I've lost but he will ...

    It is one year since I got my first story published in the 2010 "Christmas Fear" anthology by Static Movement.

    To date - 14 stories of varying length and 3 poems in print
    and another 33 stories waiting for the anthologies to fill up and be printed.
    Not all of them Static Movement but they opened the floodgates.
    So 2011 was a good year.

  5. Some days nothing goes right

    Yesterday I Wasn't feeling good and spent most of the day in bed. I was supposed to take my Mother shopping and other things but no deal.
    Today was symphony day -- Haydn, Hovhaness, Mozart flute concerto, Bizet Carmen Fantasy for flute and James Galway brought his golden flute (the one with the diamond on the end). He's very entertaining.

    However. in the parking garage there was a guy who followed me up and down and I got angry. I should know better. I left the window on ...
