You may be surprised what you learn from "old people" in your care. They have had a lifetime of living and much to share from their lives. I recently lost a client/friend who served in WWII. He survived two plane crashes, 2 tropical illness from serving in the South Pacific. A woman I met in the hospital and I helped her walk after hip surgery so she could dance at her grandson's wedding. She had been a school teacher and she married a man who became the owner of the local newspaper. She was so sharp and knew much local history. She was a joy. Take time to hear your cliensts and bond with them. This will help you enjoy your job. I find in the care of others I often receive more than I give.

I used to try to please others much harder than I do now, but it's a hard habit to break. Feeling isolated and alone can be very difficult. I hope you find some trans friends soon!

Definitely a blessing in disguise that you are out of there mate. Best of luck with your next job. Hope you find some nicer work colleagues. Greater tollerence, touch wood.

Work as hard as possible in your current job, so that people will know you are an asset to the company in spite of that nasty female and they also will notice when you leave for another position elsewhere too! Best wishes.

Aww, sorry to hear. I'm also at a point of transition life / work wise, and yeah, it's stressful. At least you are in the UK though; that means you're not going to be left on the street as fast as [here] in the US, right? And, to be positive, I guess little insecurity can be good ... for me, at least. Otherwise I sit in one place, and maybe don't go as far. Applying to jobs kinda makes you stick up for yourself .

My V-Day was mostly uneventful, though at the end I went to a genderqueer meeting. It was mostly good, but a lot of members (gender variant young people) talked about their happy childhoods ... which brought up some open wounds for me. I think my parents might have been supportive if I was mostly gender variant, but no, I happen to be one of those who has a need for surgery / body modification.

I wrote a nice story (or finished it) after a normal day at work. I had a lovely valentines day!

I agree that it can be hard to feel good about oneself and happy after a while out of work.

Just try your best to keep your chin up. And think of the positives, such as your good understanding of self and your loving boyfriend.

And friends on the EA :-)

"I have noticed over the last few days that my balls have reduced in size alot and dont seem to be hanging down but up pulling up. My penis is also alot smaller and thinner so its not all bad news...lol" And hopefully this will make it easier to find some perfect fitting jeans :-)

I seem to be getting a little gut too, but I think this is due to my eating habits - especially a lot of chocolate, it's easter for me already lol - rather than the Androcur/Siterone.

Jeans would be one item of clothing - though I have next to no fashion sense/taste! - that would seem easy enough to wear mens or womens and not care at all. Because mens and womens jeans basically look the same, well to me they do. So it should just come down to what pair of jeans is your best fit. Though we do of course live in a sometimes non tolerant society, so some people may think it strange and be offended by a male shopping for female jeans. Of course they shouldn't though. It doesn't matter. Funnily enough I probbaly could have spent a lot of my life wearing womens jeans as I've usually worn the smallest size available to men!
