Although not yet castrated, just getting rid of the testosterone was what saved my bacon. It was a very anxious and fearful and confusing time for me last year when I finally decided to pursue the testicle alcohol injection method. Really scary. But my need to be free was so strong I did it. And now I can look back and say how very glad I am that I took action. Although I too look forward to the day that my small hard numb dead balls are removed, the fact that they no longer produce testosterone has been a new leash on life for me. No method is safe. You can easily get a bacterial infection from any open wound, especially surgery. I used sterile methods to inject and was careful and had no negative issues. But each person is different, each situation is different. What worked for me, what worked for someone else, can not be used as a guarantee that anyone will get safe outcome. Even so, I was so driven to do the next best thing to castration, I proceeded in spite of my fear and mental awareness of the risks I was taking. Each to their own, and good luck whatever path you choose. Once the deed is done the mental anguish goes away, and oh what a relief that is.

Do not fret, it took me years to realize what I needed. and then took over three years to find a safe, reliable way to get it done. Be patient and I understand your frustration.

I think in principle it’s a great idea. It would allow each of us to travel in a mutually supportive environment – we would have others at hand who are going through the same experience.

HOWEVER, we would have to be sure (before going!) that whoever performs the operation is a skilled surgeon who maintains professional standards of cleanliness, etc. I’m not sure how we could check on this!

i use testosterone injections every other week as i had too many side effects of stopping them quite some time ago. I enjoy being a masculine hairy nullo so when all of my hair on my body started going down the drain i freaked, as well as the night sweats became so horrendous i couldn't handle them any longer. i also have much more energy when on testosterone although since i no longer have a penis being horny all of the time which the testosterone facilitates, its quite frustrating but enjoyable. the internal portions of my cock still get hard when aroused at when highly aroused it throbs and brings about drainage from my urethra sometimes soaking my shorts.

Seems like you are procrastinating. Get it done!!!

I understand that it must be difficult B92 to fit this surgery into a schedule due to work committments or otherwise because you do need a little recovery time post op. I was lucky enough to be retired so I could take my time and recover gradually and do it at my own pace. Had the op in mid November 2011 and I am now back to exercising - swimming, cycling and short jogs.

Dr arnkoff is located in Michigan, USA. you can find his link on this site. He requires no letter and his fee is $2000 at this time. He only does castrations on weekends. He will not do any other procedures, like sack removal (best done by plastic surgeon) or any penis operations. You can find more information under surgical in forum.

regreen was everything good with your casteration with Dr Arnkoff I am planning on scheduling mine next couple weeks and how did you do after your casteration was there any complications. I ve spoke with Dr Arnkoff a couple times and it all sounds good. Im into heavy body modifications tattoo and piercings and gential mods he was only Dr that was real interested in doing my casteration and taking time to talk with me about it I am planning on scheduling next week.

I can't speak highly enough of him and his assistant.

No I think I will pass on any operations to my penis. Just too many issues there. I have found no doctors that will operate on a penis as an elective surgery (except in the case of GRS). And also one fellow was nullofied by a personal friend who was a doctor.
I am already on testosterone replacement using a gel. So I expect no physical or mental changes except I will be happier.
