Villa Adorus: The Roman Sperm Bath
As was the custom for many wealthy men of Ancient Rome, public
bathing offered both a social and hygienic solution to the problems
associated with life in 100 AD. What most casual readers or even
academics do not realize was the proliferance of private sperm
baths offered at certain select baths and many brothels.
One such sperm bath was operated for well over 200 years by a
series of familial owners outside of Rome. Its name was Villa
Adorus and this is the story of how it operated.
Situated on a little more that a hectare of rural land, Villa
Adorus was beautifully landscaped and architecturally adorned to
please the most refined client. Beneath this marble column edifice
was a natural hot spring, which fed a constant supply of warm fresh
water to each of 20 private rooms, which were richly decorated and
very comfortable. A golden tub shaped as a fanciful Lion was the
focal point of each private room, as was the beautiful statuary and
wall adornments featuring erotic art of every conceivable type and
fetish.
In the center of this spectacular villa, was a large rectangular
room, which was the Milking room. Next to it was a small-attached
room called the Harvest Room. Further away from the Villa Adorus
was a vast slave quarters which housed the 2000 slaves from which
the sperm was collected. The Romans were clever business owners and
over the years the proprietors of Villa Adorus had learned through
trial and error that the most copious amounts of spermatozoa were
produced by young teen males aged 13 – 19 years old. Therefore,
only slaves of this age were purchased at the slave markets in
Rome. Many races of slaves were represented, most of Roman descent
but many from North Africa and the surrounding Mediterranean
conquests. Some from as far North as present day France and England.
The Milking Room was used to provide each of the 20 private rooms
with a constant on demand supply of fresh sperm for the client
bathers. As each Golden Tub could hold up to 17 gallons of sperm,
the Milking Room was in production 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Each sperm slave had to be milked a minimum of 7 times per day in
order to keep up with the constant demand for wholesome fresh
sperm. The layout of the Milking Room resembled that of a small
factory. Every few minutes a shift of up to75 sperm slaves were
ushered in by guards and took their places around a series of
dozens of round collection bowls which were on white marble
pedestals standing 4 feet high. Approximately 7 slaves would
surround the bowl, and immediately begin masturbation. As most of
the sperm slaves had been carefully screened for sexual prowess
upon purchase, the ejaculation of semen was always accomplished in
10 minutes or less. Much like an assembly line, as soon as one
sperm slave had finished shooting his load of semen into the bowl,
he was quickly replaced by another, and then another. When a bowl
was full, it was quickly delivered fresh and hot to the waiting
bather. And so in this fashion, enough sperm was milked to fill the
tubs of bathers, as well as gourmets of sperm who not only wished
to bath but also drink. Some clients, while soaking in the fresh
sperm also enjoyed watching through a small glass window which
allowed them a view into the Milking Room. Clients could also
arrange to have selected sperm slaves brought directly into their
cubicle so that they could drink the semen fresh from the source or
replenish the tubs contents with fresh semen. This commanded a
higher fee, but was enjoyed by many clients.
The useful lifespan of a sperm slave seldom lasted beyond the
nineteenth year. By then, sperm production was beginning to wane
and the penis which had been milked so many tens of thousands of
times in the space of only a few years had begun to lose its beauty
and perfect shape. When the day came that the usefulness for a
slave had ended, the small Harvesting Room was employed. Here on an
elevated marble slab, the slave was restrained by four guards until
the attending physician could harvest the enormous testicles of the
boy. Though the slave’s sperm production had declined, there was
still a strong market among the sperm bather clients for fresh
human testicles. When a client was hungry after a bath, fresh
testicles could be consumed upon demand and served either raw or
cooked. Clients could also take part in the castration if they so
desired and in fact could consume the fresh testes in front of the
eunuch from which they had been harvested. The technique for
gelding was simple. The sperm slave, after being restrained was
places on his hands and knees with the head in a lowed position,
legs spread apart. Some client’s would amuse themselves by milking
the slave one last time and consuming the life-giving liquid on the
spot, or could position themselves in front of the slaves head,
allowing the slave to sodomise the client during the procedure.
Leather straps were tied to secure the young gelding. A sharp razor
knife was employed to open the scrotum from top to bottom revealing
the large orbs, which had produced so much sperm in their young
life. Quickly the physician cut each cord, and removed the
testicle. A white-hot cauterizing iron was used to stop bleeding
and then after the second testicle had been removed, the gelding’s
scrotum was sewn back in place.
After several weeks of recuperation, the eunuch slaves were either
sold back into the slave markets for domestic or sexual purposes,
or kept to work in the Villa.
And this was the life enjoyed at Villa Adorus. Those who lived in
the nearby countryside said that even years after the Villa was
finally closed by the last of its owners, the smell of human sperm
still permeated the warm Roman air.
