Jim was lying on the beach. He stripped naked, using a newspaper to cover his genitals. A seven-year-old girl came up to him and asked, "What's under the paper?" "A bird," Jim replied. He then fell asleep. He woke up an hour later, in hospital. He was in agony as he had suffered terrible injuries to his genitals. He was visited by police officers who interviewed him, and then went to the beach to see if they could find any witnesses. They found the girl and asked her what had happened. "When he fell asleep I picked up the paper and played with the bird," she said. "Then it started spitting at me. So I broke its neck, set fire to its nest, and smashed both its eggs!!"
