Dear Jamie,
Thank you for your inquiry. The surgery you are interested in is called “Penile Replantation Surgery (PRS).” Few urologists perform this surgery; Dr. Hamstadd is the lone certified urologist in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Virginia. This surgery is offered to eunuchs but is especially needful for those who become impotent or who suffer from severe penis retraction. Severe retraction is determined when the eunuch penis fails to hang outside of the body on its own or if weights must be continually used to prevent retraction. Retraction can be aggravated by insufficient sexual activity, though not always. In your case James, it sounds as though your penis retracts even with the use of daily weights. I believe that you are a good candidate for PRS. However, Dr. Hamstadd will need to examine you first to ensure that no other medical problem is present.
This surgery will provide you with new sensations to the glans or tip of your penis. You will experience sexual feeling, though you will not climax or achieve a penile orgasm because you are castrated. Most eunuchs who have PRS look forward to sexual relations again because they believe they can better satisfy their spouse or girlfriend. Our statistics confirm that sexual satisfaction for women is higher if the eunuch has had PRS. Dr. Hamstadd has successfully performed over 500 of these surgeries to date and though two men have asked to have the surgery reversed, all the other eunuchs are well pleased with the results and so are there wives or girlfriends. Now for the surgical facts: Your penis will be measured prior to surgery and you or your wife can choose the dimensions of the silicone replacement penis. Typically, the silicone replacement penis can exceed the original penis dimensions by two inches in length and 1 inch in girth. If your original penis measured 6 inches with a girth of 4, you will most likely be fitted with a penis that measures 8 inches in length and 5 inches in girth. That’s because the skin of the penis is pliable and stretchable. The skin is all that is used because PRS will involve the removal of your penis. As with most eunuchs, this probably will not bother you, since you have already become detached from your penis. You are more interested in pleasing your wife, which is typical of a true eunuch. However, you need to understand the extent of the surgery and what it entails. Once you are sedated, Dr. Hamstadd will make a two inch incision in just the skin of your penis, at the base of protrusion from your body. The skin of your penis is left intact along with the nerve endings. Dr. Hamstadd will carefully preserve the nerve endings, which will be bundled and pushed into the glans or tip of your penis near the end of the surgery. She will then clamp, dissect, and excise your penis, cutting it free from your body. Your dissected penis is pulled away from the skin, so that the skin of your penis is inside out. Dr. Hamstadd will then remove your dissected/excised penis. Since it is a body part, it must be placed in the medical waste. (New laws forbid the transportation of human body parts. Do not ask to take it home with you). The nerves are then stretched up to your denuded penis tip or glans and sewn fast. A silicone replacement penis is then moved into place; the skin of your penis is slowly pulled over the silicone penis. Once satisfied, Dr. Hamstadd will close the incision and you will be on your way. The operation takes approximately 1 hour. Your new penis will hang downward making it largely unnoticeable. It will feel large and heavy at first. It will take awhile to get accustomed to it. You should experience sensation in the tip soon after the anesthesia wears off. Complete healing takes approximately three to four weeks. Then your new penis can be used for intercourse, but it should be used gently with care. In answer to your question, I can send you a typical silicone replacement penis for you to examine. The cost is $10.00, plus shipping. You will be able to get a sense of what it will feel like to own one of these penises. These silicone replacement penises come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. Since the skin can conform to the shape, you can choose from a large selection. The one I send you may not be the size that best fits you. Jallen Paltow, Urologic Nurse
